Continent Hotel Kahramanmaraş Reopens Its Doors

Continent Hotel Kahramanmaraş, which served as one of the region's most loved and appreciated hotels for two years after its opening, was closed and renovated by the investor, the beloved and successful businessman of the region,

Orhan Akkoyun, following the earthquakes on February 6. The hotel began its operations again with a ceremony held on January 18, 2025.In addition to accommodation services, the hotel features two wedding halls and two conference rooms with capacities of 1000 and 300 people, respectively. On the ground floor, there is also a coffee shop operating under the name Caldeza Coffee & More, which is located in Antalya.

Orhan Akkoyun, the owner of Continent Hotel Kahramanmaraş, stated, “Our hotel, which previously operated on the Kahramanmaraş Southern Ring Road, Hal Junction, has been renewed after the earthquake and returned to serve our city as a 4-star facility under the Continent brand. I would like to thank our esteemed guests who attended our opening.”

The opening ceremony was attended by figures from the construction sector and industrialists of Kahramanmaraş, as well as the General Chairman of MÜSİAD, Mahmut Asmalı, AK Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa Elitaş, former Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirişçi, AK Party Kahramanmaraş MPs Ömer Oruç Debgici, Mehmet Şahin, Tuba Köksal, AK Party Provincial Chairman M. Burak Gül, district mayors, MÜSİAD Kahramanmaraş Branch President Şerafettin Özcan, President of the Kahramanmaraş Contractors Union Mehmet Kaya, and many other invited guests.

New Investments on the Way in the Region

Ethem Zagikyan, Chairman of Continent Worldwide Hotels, expressed his pleasure in the reopening of the hotel, stating, “We are very happy that our hotel has reopened its doors. We plan to increase our capacity by 100 more rooms in a short time and also hold the opening of our additional building, which is currently under construction at full speed. Additionally, as a result of our discussions with our investor, Mr. Orhan Akkoyun, we aim to establish another hotel in Kahramanmaraş within the next 1-2 years.”

Investors who have reached an agreement to brand their investments with Continent Worldwide Hotels from nearby cities and who plan to invest also attended the opening ceremony.
